I'm a natural night owl if I don't have external pressure making me conform to a different schedule. My body doesn't want to sleep til three in the morning and it wants to wake at eleven. It would be fine with me if the time was the same all year around. Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

Can I suggest a 3rd choice....just leave the damn time alone....I had to change 9 time pieces and when I tried to turn back my watch, the pin broke...tomorrow I have to take it in for repairs at my expense!

An hour to and fro every year is not an issue. On the ships we used to loose or gain an hour every second day for two weeks and a week or so later do it in reverse. Each night shift would loose or gain 20 min. It used to confuse my mind no end. I prefer more day light in the evenings though.

FALL is way better! Much more beautiful =)

I like the extra hour of sleep too, if given a choice. But I'd like the clock to be left alone too. We have the added confusion in the Florida panhandle if being in Central Standard Time, when the rest of Florida is on EST. The change is just west of Tallahassee. So people/companies of other states assume we are EST, when seeing a Florida area code, so calls/appointments are always screwed up.

I like falling back because we gain an extra hour, but probably prefer springing forward because it's the beginning of the long days.

I'm with those that want to leave it alone. The primary reason we have it is because stores want another hour of daylight for us to shop and golfers can extend the season. One of my big beefs is that it doubles the time I have to fight the sun on my commute to and from work. I live west of my work, so I fight the sun coming and going. And just when it shifts in the sky so that it's no longer a problem, we go back or forward and hour and I have to do it again.

I hate DST, a silly outdated idea that hasn't worked right since the thirties. Fall back always seems to me like retreating to the actual time of day. My Circadian rhythms never do straighten out for Spring Forward. Lust brings you together, love keeps you there, sex keeps the mechanism lubricated.

I prefer Benny Hinn Day (fall back). An extra hour of sleep is always appreciated. Lots of pix of Beautiful Bountiful Women: here come the pix I wanna see: a minirant about BBWs Message for haters (& request to the hateD)

intendadiversion replies on 11/4/2014 10:30 pm: Next time just turn it ahead 11 hours. What a wonderful idea for next year! Thank you for suggesting it, intenda! Wish you had posted this before I turned them back. My watch should be repaired by the end of the week!

Spring forward - Cause that means summer - and skimpy clothes are just around the corner.

Yes and crossing the International Date Line can also cause consternation.

It's nice to have an extra hour in the Fall, although in Newfoundland it doesn't make too much difference to daylight hours so we would be as well not to have daylight saving.

Spring Forward.

Daylight Savings Time was introduced in the twenties but didn't get a firm hold until the fifties when not that many states had it and it made travel confusing. In Texarkana where one side of the main street was Texas and the other Arkansas the business on the Arkansas side were open an hour later than the Texas side which was a burden for the Texas stores. The idea was to give businesses more daylight hours for people to buy in. It was never designed to give the working man more daylight to play in. Among it's many side effects, it killed the drive in theater. It is totally outdated today since the business cycle is 24 hours and most leisure activities are well lighted at night. All it does is mess with people's sleep cycle and mean children have to go to school in the dark. Still the same idiots stick with it year after year when it had worn out any real use it had back in the sixties. Lust brings you together, love keeps you there, sex keeps the mechanism lubricated.

Let's make it a day, but do it at 1:00 am on Monday morning. In the fall, we get a three day weekend. In the Spring we get a paid day off work!

Spring forward and leave it the heck aloan!!! or just split the difference and then leave it that way!!! Just saying that would make everyone happy and we would never have to talk about it again!!

Wish they would leave it alone...it is really messes up your day if you work nights and some forget the clocks has changed..Yes they may phone you. and say "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU "or "YOUR AN HOUR EARLY..AND WAS NOT EXPECTING YOU"

Sorry I can't answer your question since I'd prefer no time change at all

I would love for the time to stay the same. I still don't want to wake up at 7 am. And it really throws off people on a schedule. I'm not a morning person, that doesn't change even if you give me an extra hour.
