Hi Koffla...it's great to have you back lighting up my watched list again. It looks like you had a wonderful Summer. Here we are having a temporary break from Summer.....heavy rain and thunder and lightning which has put a stop to my Summer project....reclaiming my back garden from the jungle it had become....it has been hard work and very tiring but if the rain stops I'll get down to the planting. As for the "hacking" incidents....what can I say? ~~Anais Nin~~

Dang. You're last post is "read only". It struck a chord with me and it merited a rare reply/comment from myself. (It brought back memories.) I have only owned one bike in my life. A 1976 Suzuki 550GT two stroke. - Supposedly it had the power of a 750. It needed work when I bought it on the cheap. (Tires and exhaust.) I actually only drove it once, and I barely got it into third gear then. (I had previously lost a pair of shades on the freeway as a passenger. lol) It weighed almost a thousand pounds! Sadly, I lost it to a storage unit. (What a great find for whoever bought it. *sigh*) I wish I would have had the time and resources to make more memories with her. Read my diary Journal of a Taxi Driver for taxi stories and pictures of flowers and trees.

Ah, McSirKof, tis good to have thee back. Sounds like you've been enjoying the summer. Great time of year, we're still enjoying it, despite the remnants of hurricane Bertha doing their best to upset us. It's been fairly quiet round here recently, there are of course the usual array of dramas, but nothing worth even taking the piss out of. What we need is some more ghosties maybe?? Great to have you back, please stay a while..........

In the UK we pay about £1.30/litre which is around £5.91/gallon, which at around $1.6 to the £ amounts to $9.45/gsallon for unleaded gas (and $10.18/gallon diesel). Of course, most of what we pay (60 goes in tax to the government!

Good to see you again. Come into my realm! You aren't afraid...are you?

So have you brushed all the bugs out of your teeth yet? Let's see, I have been playing golf, trying to get my lawn fixed, just took my Supra in to be fixed (it has been sitting in my garage for years) and got a puppy.

All this love you're getting, man, people really miss you! Welcome back! What did I do? Let's see if I can remember... Riding the Greyhound overnight to spend a day in NY City; Watch the First World Relays (Athletics) on television; Camping trip for my Birthday; 2 days in Columbus for anniversary including visit to the Columbus Zoo; Several weekends in New York just hanging and drinking beer; Became a weekend gardener; Went to see Bad Company, and Lynyrd Skynyrd (classic Rock); Watch the World Cup (soccer... my team lost terribly); Watch the NBA Finals (basketball... my team lost terribly); Headed to Jamaica this weekend, so still have a few moves to make.

Good to see you... we finally got the Harley fixed and headed out on a 1.5 hour trip to a fruit stand near the city. We went the "scenic route" , got lost, made it home 6 hours later! I was burned despite the sun block, we never found the fruit stand but did find a lot of dead ends where roads should have been. It was so good to ride though, we didnt mind too much!

So is the isle of Mann anywhere on your travel list? Using more than all the road!
