Someday, I'd like to visit my family's farm outside of Des Moines, Iowa...it's still owned and occupied by a member of that branch of the family. There is even a family graveyard lovingly tended to by a family member. It is one of the last allowed in that county. My ancestor actually had a homestead across the road. I know that when I walk that property, I will be closer to them. My ancestors traveled from Rhode Island to Iowa with 7 kids in tow, by wagon train, in the 1860's. And the mom was pregnant! She gave birth to my ancestor right after settling in Iowa. People often ask...why even look at the past? Why not concentrate on what is here and now? There's really no way to explain it to someone who doesn't already have that same state of mind toward the past. Maybe someday, they will come to understand but usually of their own accord. It's so very sweet that you knew and were involved with the ppl who lived in your place before and want to preserve some of their memories. You are a very lucky dude but I think some of your luck, you made Kudos to you for that! Read RESPECT WE all NEED to do Better and Re Petition to Stop Transsexuals from Using Female Profiles

Keep a watchful eye on those forts for late night candles lighten by ghosts. An excuse my dad would've never believed when we were kids. Using more than all the road!

What a wonderful way to preserve a bit of history! Especially meaningful, too, that you were a part of it. Very comfortable ghosts indeed.
