Paying it forward... thanks BiggLala - I hope this helps... Adding the post in a comment, like my flower, since it seems words don't disappear from comments... 🙄🤦🏽♀️ ********************* Soooo...it seems we've travelled back in time to three years ago when the site removed standard members' ability to read and respond to emails. With this recent change to standard membership, the rhetoric is exactly the same. Post after post, after post... Anyway...I get it, it's frustrating as fuck. I know it was clear to me when I first joined that I had to to interact with anyone. This was before I even knew about other communication tools like the blogs, , rooms, A/L, etc. I've used those tools in various measures throughout my five years here to interact with people. Still, we can just sit here and complain (like I do 😂 ) or make it better (like I've attempted to do several times, which we know hasn't worked, hence the complaining 😜 ). One of the ways I, and some other bloggers, have done to attempt to make communication better is to promote the use of a private blog post. Many of you have seen the link to this post, "Build your own Private Postbox Receive Readable Messages and Reply" ://tstvdates.com./blog/654000/post_40748.html. I think some of you who set up such a post have found it valuable... least the hope is that you have. Now...it's your turn to help spread that message. Given the writing on the wall, I think it unlikely other members will see my link and get the information they need. This is mostly due to my suspicion that the blogs will eventually become solely an angry venting place, rather than a social, idea sharing place. I don't want to be as active in that place...thus, few people will see the instructions. I mostly on you popular, 'top blogger' folks. Those of you daily posters, who often claim you care about 'this community', what happens to it, and the people in it. Add the Private Postbox blog post instructions to *YOUR* blog page. You can contact on my private post, Your Diary, to exchange external email so I can send the information to you. Miss Darling Annette took a great deal of time and effort to put the information together to help 'this community' and its members. All you have to do is copy and paste.
